I'm going to Brazil to visit my girlfriend: can I take my Playstation 3 with games and controllers on board?
Hi everyone. So as the title states, I'm flying out of the UK to visit my gf in Brazil. I'd like to know if I can take my PS3 with 3 games and 2 controllers in my carry-on luggage - the PS3 could go in my laptop bag?? Has anyone done/tried this without customs taking my equipment?? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Yeah I did once , the PS3 with all the cables and controllers as hand luggage , but it was not to Brazil so really dont know anything about that , but nothing happened at customs here in Doha

Yea probably because if the PS3 is like a weapon or some sort you shouldn't bring it aboard a plane

Well i once brought my PS2 out of the US. And no, they X-rayed my bag and were fine with the things in it. You just have to assemble your PS3 equipment neatly and tidily. That way, they could clearly see what's in your laptop bag. And no, they won't do anything to your PS3. Unless something in your luggage/bag looks like some sort of malicious weapon.
