How do you get a laptop to connect to the Internet abroad? I'm taking a laptop to Brazil.?
I don't know anything about laptops. How do you get a connection?

satellite but its expensive.

hope fully ull find a wi-fi or if u have one of those interenet things that plug into the sside of ur laptop via usb then u have nothing to worry about

satellite but it is expensive but you could do what i do and try stealing it from other people

Isabella, the best and cheapest way is to stay at a hotel with Wireless Lan or even cable Ethernet. Turn on your laptop's wireless lan receiver and/or insert the ethernet cable in its jack. Then, go to control panel and later nework and internet to set it up. It is really easy.

ATT. has a divice that plugs right into your computer.they say u can go absolutly anywhere with it. but thats just what ive gotten from the commercials.

Do not choose telefonica, is a horrible company to work it!
