what do you think of this guy and our relationship?
My ex and I have had a very passionate, but rocky relationship from the word go. He was always very suspicious of me, he broke up with me first because he read mesages on my fone from another boy, who was just a friend. Then he came crawling back, and I took him back. Then I was jelous because this girl he had met recentely in a club kept texting him. He said that they were only friends, and i believe tis to be true. They were only texting each other because they happened to be from the same town in brazil, and that was rare to find over here in Ireland. But then he got really mad at me for being jelous and broke up with me. I was heart broken , because I really loved him, but then..... yet again, he came crawling back... and I , like a complete idiot, went back to him. Then on a drunken night out, I told him that I was bisexual. The next day he broke up with me, saying that he couldnt handle that and that i was too crazy for him and he didn't trust me. So then I thought.... thats it... I have to move on with my life. So I went out with this guy, who was actually a friend of a friend of my ex. But me and my ex were still friends, and I thought it was fine like that, I was happy to have him as a friend. Onday I went over to his house to colect my laptop, because i had left it there. He walked me to my car , and he says, "do you love me?" then i told him , i dont know, i dont want to talk about this now etc.... Because even though I did, I didnt want to just let him back into my life straight away. Then he jsut went crazy and said he never wanted to see me again, and he smashed my laptop onto the road. He had obviously found out about the other guy. I know this all sounds crazy.. and any sane person would want to the the hell out of there, but the truth is I am still hoplessly in love with him. Ever since that happened, I cant sleep , i cant eat, I have'nt been able to go into work.... I just feel sick. I know its crazy, but i just want him back so badly!!!! I know that im only 20, and everyone will tell me that I will meet another guy etc... but I really dont want to, i just want him.... i love him so much.... and i dont know what to do to get over this feeling of heartbreak!!1 Please, anyone who has been heart broken before give me some advice!!! thank you! xxx

Is there an outlet on airplanes?
I will be flying American Airlines Monday morning and will not arrive at my destination until Wednesday night. I remember once hearing that you could pay to get an outlet, so how much might that be? I have no idea how I'm going to survive these two days without my laptop and plenty of things to read and watch and play. And if anyone is curious, it's two and a half days because I got the cheapest ticket from Belo Horizonte, Brazil to Houston, Texas. There is a 12 hour stop in Recife, Brazil, then to Miami, then to LA and finally to Texas. I guess that's a consequence of buying so cheap haha.

1 - I'm not an airplane-seat expert, but I understand that many seat-brands have one certain kind of electrical outlet, meant for laptop use -- which reminds me, when I read your inquiry, I thought you meant "air exhaust" or similar, and yes, passenger aircraft have those also. 2 - Check with YOUR planned airline, ASAP. They should share such info about laptop-use with you. 3 - Your routing is certainly unusual: they make you go west to LA first? then back east to Texas? Unusual to say the least! When you reach Miami, or before in Recife, inquire about a re-route, directly to Houston! IF they have available seating, it is in their interest to simplify and shorten your trip, without further cost to you. (It potentially frees the seats you now have, for further sale.) In my experience, American is fairly good on such matters.

well, it looks like most of the time your ill be stuck in the airports so you'll have access to outlets there. as for on the planes, most of american airlines new 737-800 have standard ac outlets. the rest of the planes have dc ports, if they have them. you can use the site http://www.seatguru.com to find out if your type of plane has them. you will need to look at your itinerary online to find out what kind of planes will be used. if they use dc ports, you have to have a dc/ac converter which costs about 30 to 40.

During your 12 hour stop in Recife, you should also be able to find outlets in the airport to recharge. You may need to resort to reading a book or magazine to avoid depleting the charge on your laptop. Part of the time you will probably be sleeping also.

IF they have available seating, it is in their interest to simplify and shorten your trip, without further cost to you. (It potentially frees the seats you now have, for further sale.) In my experience, American is fairly good on such matters.

well, it looks like most of the time your ill be stuck in the airports so you'll have access to outlets there. as for on the planes, most of american airlines new 737-800 have standard ac outlets. the rest of the planes have dc ports, if they have them. you can use the site http://www.seatguru.com to find out if your type of plane has them. you will need to look at your itinerary online to find out what kind of planes will be used. if they use dc ports, you have to have a dc/ac converter which costs about 30 to 40.

During your 12 hour stop in Recife, you should also be able to find outlets in the airport to recharge. How do I convince my parents to let me use the computer more often?
I'm a 16-year-old girl who loves using the computer. I have my own laptop, as does every single member of my family. However, my dad is very strict when it comes to internet and will turn the wireless connection off whenever he pleases and without warning me first. That means that, sometimes I'm talking to someone on msn and suddenly the internet doesn't work anymore and I'm not even able to say goodbye. This annoys me and we've argued a lot over it. I don't see why he wouldn't let me use the internet. I'm not doing anything wrong, I don't watch porn, I don't talk to 50-year-old pedophiles. I only use it to update my blog and talk to my friends (all who live in Brazil, my home country - I live in Canada). My boyfriend lives in Brazil also, and my parents support our relationship, but I wish I had more time to talk to him. I'm also a writer, which means I have to use my computer to write. I'm in the IB Program, and internet research is a must. I do understand my dad's concerns however. He's afraid I'll stop living my "real" life for my internet life. Except that's not the case, I still go out with friends here, go to the cinema once a week, do homework and get good grades in school, help at home, watch tv and have fun with my family and go on family vacations. I just wish to spend more time talking to people who matter a lot to me, people who live very far away. I don't see why he doesn't understand that. I could be doing drugs, or getting drunk, or hooking up with all sorts of guys. But I'm not. I'm at home, in a safe environment, talking to my long-term boyfriend who I miss like crazy and friends who mean the world to me. My computer and the internet don't stop me from living life, they just help make my life better. Please, if anyone has any advice on how to convince him that what I'm doing (spending time on the computer) isn't wrong, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

tell him exactly what you told us about how you could be doing drugs or drining but you wanted to stay and be on the pc ( it is a pc right?) and its not like your wahyching porn and you can say that and let him check your history every once in a while

Instead of arguing with your dad about the situation, have you ever tried having a calm conversation? If not, try it. Or if you already have...try again. Address your personal opinion and tell him he needs to look at it from your point of view, not just his own. Hope I helped, hope you guys can work something out. :)

Oh, man. You seem like you have a perfect life. I'm not even kidding you are so well off. Like I'm just amazed at how lucky you are. Just tell your dad that you miss your friends.
