Why do I love a guy who hurts me so much? Throughout our relationship he has broken up with me 4 times. The first tine because he read my messages and saw that a guy (who was just a friend) was texting me. But he didn't tell me thats why , he just broke all contact with me and gave no explanation. The Second time was because I was jelous that a really pretty girl that he met in a club one night was texting him all the time ( he said it was just because they come from the same city in brazil) But any way he got mad that i was jelous and broke up with me. He came back again , and I like an Idiot took him back. Then one night when i was dunk I told him I was bisexual. The next day he said that was too crazy for him and he broke up with me. At this stage I was compeletely heartbroken and this guy, who is an aquaintence of my boyfriend kept asking me out and stuff. I didn't want to sit around and wait for mt boyfriend to come back to me again so I went out with him. When my ex this out he went crazy and smashed my laptop. He said I was a slut and bever wanted to see me again. Then after a long time he came back telling me how much he loved me and needed me, and that he would change his plans to go back to brazil to stay with me in ireland. And of course, me being so weak ran straight back to him. everything was going great for a while, until one night we were out and kinda drnk, he asked me if i slept with that guy, I said yeah and he went crazy calling me a slut and said he never wanted to see me again.He deleted me on facebook and wouldnt answer any of my calls. We eventualy spoke and he said he could never forget what I did to him and that eventhough he loves me we can never be together. He has made me feel so guilty for what I did, and he has made me lose all confidence in my self. Before I met him I was so strong and independent, now I just feel empty without him. I know our relationship has been so dramatic, and I have been an idiot running back to him so many times but each time we break up it gets harder. one minute he was changing his life plans to stay with me, the next he never wants to see me agian, I really can't take it anymore I know I am a fool, but if he wanted to take me back tomorow I would run back with open arms.Why do I still love this guy? How can I forget about him? How can I concentrate on the negative things? How do I get my self-confidenceand strength back? I don't want to be a doormat for the rest of my life!

You don't, for love is sacrifice, suffering, and in the worst case scenarios giving up the beloved person. Your partner is hurting you. Suggestion: give him a 1 way ticket out of your life, and start over again with somebody else. Good luck!

My best friend
My best friend...?
He lives a very lucky life. His family are very rich. My family aren't poor but no where as wealthy as his family. The thing is, he is kind of ungrateful. His parents are still together, he goes on heaps of hoildays (to Brazil, Rarotonga, Australia etc), he gets his own laptop PSP etc etc. I wouldn't say i'm jealous because I have many material items aswell. The thing is that I am really grateful for what I have. He complains about things he has a lot. Also he makes fun of people lower class than him (which sometimes includes me) How can I show him that we are both very lucky? I'm 17 1/2 and he's 18 1/2. We live a 2hour plane trip from each other.

Some people don't see it until they are older. Most people's lives are so charmed that they never experience any misfortune, and perhaps it will change his point of view when he does. For now, why not try a bit of straight talking? I'd say something like: "Sometimes you make it hard to be your friend, when I hear you complaining about all the things you have, instead of being grateful. Plus when you make fun of people who have less than you, it's really obnoxious. I'm worried about the person you're turning into, and I think you need to take a long hard look at how you come across to other people, because right now you sound like a spoilt brat"

Try straight talk with him.Instead of giving gifts to each other ask him to donate a gift for the poor or better still buy a shared gift to the needy at Christmas.

My laptop turns on but has a blank screen
My laptop turns on but has a blank screen.?
The computer was fine but the cooler was to noise bought a new one and tried to change it myself. Reassembled but the screen wont turn on, even external screen. Cooler working Bluetooth light working keyboard light not turning on. Can somebody help me besides telling me to send it to a shop? I am in Brazil and the pc has no warranty. Thanks

do you have a compaq presario x1000 ? well it could be the case of bad power source, you should fix it as soon has possible, however i cannot guarantee that it is the power source problem.... bad power sources caused by abrupted shutdowns or lightning can damade your laptop power supply, and you should fix this as soon as possible or other components might get damaged with time as well, like certain components of your motherboard... my guess is that BIOS got ruined or you need a motherboard replacment wich can cost you up to $1000 :) if you reassembled everything just fine it could have been cause by some static electricity you induced in the hardware chip components somehow specially BIOS but i dont know.... if you didn't reassembled everything in order maybe you want to reassemble it again this is why i like desktops :)

iPad 2 help with booksamples
iPad 2 help with booksamples?
Okay, so I am one of those lucky 12 year olds who actually own an iPad 2. I am currently on vacation in Brazil at my grandma's. Unfortunately, she doesn't have any Wi-Fi at her house. I am a BIG reader; so since I have nothing to do here I might as well read on my amazing iPad 2. So what I do is connect my iPad to my laptop,open iTunes and yes buy a book! I want to buy the new PLL novel *dramtic pause* TWISTED! but since my parents won't let me buy it yet... i want to get the sample. So I press GET SAMPLE and it says something about turning on automatic downloads and so I do. I press it again and it STILL won't work! HELP?! Kisses, -A haha yeah right! -Jade

As a 12 year old you should use your little mind and think about this a bit. Where can you go where you will have WiFi? The library maybe? An internet cafe? Many book stores have WiFi as well. Your Laptop as you have found out, does not provide a Wifi signal, which your iPad MUST have to work on the internet. I'm pretty sure that if your Grandma can take you to a place like the public library or an internet cafe, you can download the sample as well as a few others. One thing you may wish to do is to download a few FREE books as well as samples

Please help me. Worst day ever
Please help me. Worst day ever?
(copy from my old question): k... this is going to be a little long, but I have a migraine from crying too much. I live in a complex, where there is lots of houses and apartments next to each other. I live near my 3 best friends: James, Joe, and Isadora. 4 weeks ago, I went to the cinema with Isadora and James. Isadora's mum wanted her to take the new girl (which she hated) to the movie. She said she really didn't want to. When I came home from the cinema, I realized I had forgotten my laptop and Isadora's house (very expensive mac) Her mom wouldn't give it to me. She then told my mum that I made Isadora hate the new girl ( I really like the new girl though). And put all the blame on me saying I'm a bad influence. a week ago, I wanted to go swimming with Isadora James and Joe. Isadora's mum said that she wouldn't take me. So I had to walk the 2 km to get to the swimming pool, while seeing them drive. My mum then asked why I came home at 11pm instead of 4pm, I told her I had to walk. Isadora's mum then blamed me for walking. Today, James and Joe asked to have some cake that I had made with my mum. My mum was still at work. So I let them in for just a second to get cake. Like 5 seconds later, Isadora came. Now what she didn't tell me was that she told her mum that she was at the park. So then her mum came, furious, insulting me, telling me I'm a ****** a S*ut, a wh*re, and I'm a bad influence on her daughter. I tried telling her that it was Isadora who lied not me, but she continued threatening me to beat me up, and telling me she would beat up my mother. I'm now very scared that I or my mum will get hurt. Or insulted more... I have a fever now a migrane, and I feel very suicidal... What did I do wrong that made her mum so angry... I was very respectful at all times, and I adored Isadora. Should I even still be friends with her? I am scared.... they're our neighbors... and isadora is in my grade. *****Additional Details******* I have done nothing but good things for isadora I taught her english (she's from brazil) I introduced her to my friends, so we could all be friends.... I kinda found out that Isadora's mum Is jealous of my mum getting the job she wanted. They chose my Mum over her. I'm scared to see Isadora at school, because now whenever I look at her, I'll see her mother's face in her ( If u knw wat i mean....)

that was long. -.- you should just tell your mum and let her deal with it. it seems like its her mums problem, and non of yours. your 'friend' isadora doesnt seem very nice either. maybe you should hang out less.

yes, stay friends with her mate... its not her fault that her mother is being nasty to you... you shouldn't split up with your friends because of the mother/father harassing you and etc all the time. its not right thing to do mate, keep your friends close as possible. trust me on this... i wish i did when i had a similar encounter like this. also if Isadora doesn't like someone you hang around with just try and not hang around with both of them at same time... but anyhow i never saw my friend again because i was scared of his dad. cant remember the reason why his dad hated me thought... not sure what i did wrong. but all i can say is try and talk with Isadora's mum alone and ask questions like 1. How am i an influence to Isadora. What did i do? 2. How did i make Isadora hate the other girl? i wouldn't do that. I'm not like that. 3. If the park question pops up, say something like "We went to mine to grab something to eat and then we were gonna go back to the park" (try back your friend up best you can) if your scared that her mother might hit you. Try and talk to her mother while Isadora is in the room, then the possibility of her mother not hitting you will sky rocket and im guess Isadora already knows about it all, correct. maybe if you can't do any that, tell your mum and see if she can sort it out, as by looks of it... if its jelousy about the job. she have to sort it out due to Isadora's mum is blaming it all on you. also maybe if you just bare with it for while it might all calm down and go back to normal as if nothing happened. hope this kinda helps.

You should firstly tell your parents exactly what happened when Isadora visited you for cake and how you were threatened and verbally assaulted by her mother. If she still has your laptop in her home then and refuses to return it, then your parents have every right to notify the police. It sounds very much to me that your friends mother has major issues that are not your fault. I think you should distance yourself from Isadora and her mother if only for your own personal safety. The fact that Isadora lied and got you in trouble doesn't make her a very nice friend to be associated with. I personally would start keeping a diary of every incident her mother creates and start reporting the really nasty ones to the the police as they happen. This way they have a continuing record of her abusive behaviour. This record would be very useful if it ever has to go to court (say for an apprehended violence order or AVO)

My package disapeared
My package disapeared?
I sent a box to Brazil by USPS on Dec/30/09 the history they said on USPS tracking: Label/Receipt Number: CPXXXXXXXXXU S Class: Priority Mail International Parcels Service(s): International Parcels Status: International Dispatch Your item left the United States from ISC MIAMI FL (USPS) at 7:10 AM on January 2, 2010. No further information is available for this item. Detailed Results: International Dispatch, January 02, 2010, 7:10 am, ISC MIAMI FL (USPS) Arrival Acceptance, December 30, 2009, 6:59 pm, POMPANO BEACH, FL 33065 But I did a Investigation on my country Gov post office,they sent a report to on 3 days saying; didn't receive or found out any package with this tracking number in there Country. I called USPS a lot of time,they made I hold until Jan/22 to start a Investigation,and told me I have to wait more 24 days(after report) to give me a response.Until now (02/02/10) I have any information from their.I paid for insurance,and they told me after answer,if don't find the parcel,I have to wait more 45 days to get a refund.count with me(23+24+45 days)total =92 days(3 months) to hold. It's too much time!why they ask to pay a insurance?why delay to answer?I don't trust on that any more.It' was gift to my granddaughter,she is very opset with.I sold a lot of stuffs on my home to buy that to her(a laptop) because ,I promise to her if she get good score at school,and she did.Now look like I lied to her ,because It's never came.Sobody can tell me what I have to do? Once the package leaves the US, USPS is unable to effectively track the package. Your best bet is to have the recipient call their local post office in Brazil to see if they received package there. Make sure he/she has the tracking number. If the local post office in Brazil does not have the package, have him/her ask for the phone number for the customs office in Brazil. Oftentimes packages are delayed by customs. Good luck!

Is my mother overreacting?
Well, to cut the story short, I met these really nice girls on twitter (I'm a girl btw) and they have a lot of the same interests as me. I have talked to them on there a lot and they are so kind. We have started skyping but I told them a fake name, not my real name. And I don't talk much about my life or any personal info or any secrets. We just talk about music we like in general and some celebrities we crush on. My mother walked in on me talking to them, and then she told me to turn my laptop off, then she overreacted and stuff. I tried to explain to her that they are REALLY NICE and I just see them as online friends who I discuss interests with when I'm bored, not like REAL CLOSE friends or anything. Like I don't trust people that well, so it took me a very long time to actually warm up to these girls but they are really nice to me and I don't have that many friends in school so it is nice to go back home and talk to them (they live in Brazil btw) because I've never really had the experience of chatting to girls about interests, I mean, I spend my whole spare time either studying or playing video games? Now I am feeling so much happier, but my mother just doesn't understand. I know that she doesn't want me talking to strangers because it's dangerous...but it's just aargh. I don't know what to do. But they are like, not paedos or anything because they are teenagers (seen them on cam) and they treat me nicely and like a friend of their own. Your view? :(

I am 20, no job. I have 15000$
I am 20, no job. I have 15000$.?
I am young, free, and ready to explore this world on my own. I have recently graduated from university and because I haven't been able to find a job for the last month I feel like saying "fuck it" and enjoying my life. I have no debt, no kids, no relationships I am tied down to, no place that I call home, and no problems. I have yet to be sapped of my youth from a mundane cubicle corporate job and I have yet to become jaded by the problems of this world. So I have 15000$ in my pocket, a good friend, and a backpack. I want to pack my laptop, a week's worth of clothing, some money, and survival equipment and just travel. I am thinking of leaving the USA for an undetermined amount of time to travel the world. We will most likely start from New York and make our way through the continental United States, into Mexico and travel through Central America and South America for 1.5 years. I am fluent in Spanish and French, so the language barrier won't be an issue except for in Brazil. Afterward we will most likely backpack Europe, North Africa, and then Southeast Asia over 3 years. In total the round the world trip will take 5 years, but we plan to live in places until we grow bored of them. We are young, fit, ready to party, learn new cultures, and embrace the world before we become too old to enjoy it. We both have skills with programming and website design so we can make money wherever there is an internet connection. We can survive below our means when traveling so financing the trip isn't an issue. We calculated that it would cost about 30$ a day in South America, India, Pakistan, and Central America, and North Africa; 50$a day in Europe and South East Asia. Should we just fuck conforming to the expected social norms, put off a family and getting married, and live out the dream? We have no responsibilities now, so why not wait to gain them? I do have a passport.

My dad is SOOO overprotective..How can I get him to back off?
My dad is the most overprotective dad ever! He got mad at me for hanging out with a 16 year old boy, so he made me stop seeing him because he thinks Im "too young" (im 13). So I stopped talking to the guy because my dad would always be PO whenever I was around him. And now my mom wants me to start living with her, on Brazil (Im half Brazilian). And, my Portuguese isn't so great so my mom decided to get me a tutor. And it is kinda hard to find someone who speaks both fluent Portuguese/English. But my mom's friend has a son who does. Her son asked for my email and he said he would do it. And I have been talking to him every day. And my dad started going through my PC, so he has read my emails and he knows that I have been talking to this boy a lot (and it hasn't really been about the tutoring thing). And my dad confronted me and he told me that he wanted me to stop talking to him because "He is too young to be a grandpa". And he also talked to my mom about it, and she doesn't think its that big of a deal we just had a little talk about it. And its not like if im doing anything wrong I mean,the dude is cute he thinks im cute.Im just having some fun with it that's all. But my dad overreacted and now im not allowed to talk to him (I still do, he just doesn't know about it) I got my laptop taken away (im using my ipod right now). And its just really hard for me to talk to him because my dad is so overprotective. How can I get him to back off a little bit?

tell him your a big girl now and your growing up sooner or later he's gonna have to deal with you getting a boyfriend and tell him that this is the stage you become a woman and show him that your a more responsible and young and mature adult it'll ease of the tension by a little bit but not fully. for now until your older you can't really do anything.

That's not called being overprotective that's just called being regular protective. If a 16 year old is hanging out with a 13 year old he obviously is doing something wrong that he's not spending more time around 16 year olds. And if it's at all sexual (because "it hasn't really been about the tutoring" and "i'm just having some fun" sound like it) then he has full right to be protective. Enjoy your youth it's just immature and causes your dad more stress when you try to grow up faster by hanging out with people a few grades higher then you and such.

What should i take on a 12 hour flight
What should i take on a 12 hour flight?
Hi! im going on a 12 hour international flight to brazil from london. I have written a list of what to pack (bearing in mind that im 12 years old) Pencil case Notebook (to draw and write in) Gloves & Scarf - planes get cold Fuzzy warm socks - my feet get cold very easily! 2 or 3 magazines Make-up Hand Sanitizer Mouth wash Tooth brush Sun block Wallet with money Hair brush Home work Spare under wear Pads Phone Comfortable Trousers (I Hate Sleeping in Jeans!) Is there anything else i should take? I don't have a laptop, i dont really use my ipod and my DS broke. Any thing else needed I want to have a comfortable trip, and a fun one. The airline has one of those TV's on every seat. Thanks for the help guys! x

Also, i would take a small blanket instead of gloves and a scarf it helps to ward off weird looks And if you like reading maybe some books not just a magazine. I might also bring some melatonin. It is a non prescription(at least in the united states) non addictive herbal supplement that your body makes naturally and will help you get some sleep. you can pick it up anywhere they sell supplements

Can it be hazardous to your health if you spend most of your time in front of a screen?
I spend all day either in front of a laptop or a ps3 usually until 5 am then I go to bed and wake up around 4 pm. I am always tired and for the most part I don't feel like doing anything. I can't even remember the last time I went outside. I don't have problems with obesity though because I always skip lunch and have only one meal a day so I don't pig out on food. It's pretty common for me to feel depressed basically because I feel like I have nothing to look forward to. I live in a small town in Brazil, It's pretty boring with nothing to do outside, and the place itself isn't the great. There's no space, no parks,and the houses are crammed together next to each other. There's no activities at all . The only outdoors activity, I could think of, would be go out and do drugs with random people. But, the last thing I'd like to be is a homeless junkie. Is there a solution to my problem or any ideas to soothe my pain? I feel suicidal sometimes, I know this sounds upsetting, but I usually feel like ending my life, I don't know if I'd have the guts to go through with it though.

Do you have a bike? Could you cycle to get some exercise? Is there a swimming pool or a sports centre? It is so bad for your health not to get some exercise, even if you are not overweight. Surely there must be some sort of a youth club, or could you do voluntary work? Are there any gardens where you could offer to do some gardening? The easiest thing to do would be to simply go running. Could you get a bus out of town and take photos of wildlife? You are just stuck in a rut, and lack of activity in itself will make you feel depressed.

being in front of a screen all the time can be very harmful for your health. it can cause sever headaches and eye problems, backache and arthritis. sleeping at all hors of the day is depressing when your doing that everyone is up doing other things. it may be a boring town but even an hour outside can make you feel so much happier and so much more awake. you dont need to do drugs im sure you know a friend and maybe would take a walk with you outside and making plans to hang out or watch a movie can make all the difference. thinking about ending your life isnt a way to go. sitting at home all the time can be fixed but suicide is a permanant thing. and you might want to take an intrist in art its very soothing and not on a computer.

Am I rich?? Why?? What could I do
Am I rich?? Why?? What could I do?
Lots of people at my school say that I'm  a spoiled brat and a rich kid! I  am? I am 13. I live in London, we are 4 in my family.  I have my own room. I have 4 iPods,an iPad, a laptop, a blackberry and a credit card. Everyone in my family has a blackberry and his own laptop my brother(16) also have 4 iPods. My parents love to travel so every weekend we take a plane and go in Europe ( Italy, France, Germany...) in 5 star hotel. During the holiday we also travel, we go in different country around the world (australia, brazil,maldives...) always in 5 stars hotel. My mother has only designer clothes and Lots Of Shoes (prada, gucci, louboutin, Dior...) My father has lots of watches (rolex,tagheure,jaeger, bell & rose, tiso...)My family has 6 houses. I have some designer clothes (Armani,Burberry,Ralph Lauren...). But most of my clothes which aren't designer are from Abercrombie. I have some jewellery from tiffany and seiko. We  have  art which there is  only a few reproduction in the world. My parents have both their company. My father gets what anyone want (my brother and I) even If you didn't ask for it. I don't brag about what I have to other people they just saw them and start to say things! Do  you think I'm rich and  why?? What could I do about those people?? I'm happy!! It's just really annoying that each time that you arrive at school with designer clothes or a blackberry some people start to say things mean about you.

My family is relatively well off. Or they were at the start. We're alot poorer now,so I had to move from a private school to a comprehensive. (Although my family was never *really* rich. I never had five ipods XD) Because of the fact that I went to a private school at the start,I have quite a 'posh' accent. Anyway,my accent is pretty noticeable,and because of it,people automatically assume I come from a rich family o.O But I don't. And so people were kind of mean to me at the start,asking me if I went horseriding every weekend,and trying to get me to tell them how much money was in the bank. But I have never been horseriding in my life,and there isn't much money in the bank XD Plus,I'm a pretty depressed person. Even if someone was rich,it doesn't mean that they're happy. Someone could have all they could ever want,and still be unhappy. To be honest,all the hatred in the world has started from people making assumptions about others. I don't think that the amount of money someone has is any reason to pick on them. There is no such thing as rich, just people with more money than others. I'll talk to you as a person not as wealthy as yourself and try to help you. It is true that you have spent your money on many things you don't really need, such as 4 iPods. Personally I think that 1 iPod is enough for a couple of people. Even though having expensive devices and laptops isn't something special, having a credit card from the age of 13 is awkard. It may seem normal to you since you were grown like that but you have to understand that other people's parents can't afford such luxury, thus it seems weird to the eyes of an average 13 year old. Also, it seems to me that since your family is capable of buing all these things there is no harm in doing so. However there is more to being spoiled than having a lot of money. Someone can't tell if you're spoiled through the internet unless they are trying to get 10 points out of you. It requires a lot of time to know a person. However, the fact that you are troubled by what other say means that you have a kind heart and are a kind child. Now about your question involving these people. It is human nature being jealous. It is normal for these people to judge you like that since you have some things they may never get or achieve. You have to understand that being jealous is human nature, so try not to be mad with these people. The best thing you can do with them is ignore them and forgive them. Being able to do that shows true superiority, not money. Do you have any true friends? If no it's totally normal since it's hsrd to find a true friend. If you do try talking to him about your problem. Also, in both cases try talking to your parents about what's troubling you. That's pretty much it. It may seem normal to you since you were grown like that but you have to understand that other people's parents can't afford such luxury, thus it seems weird to the eyes of an average 13 year old. Also, it seems to me that since your family is capable of buing all these things there is no harm in doing so. However there is more to being spoiled than having a lot of money. Someone can't tell if you're spoiled through the internet unless they are trying to get 10 points out of you. It requires a lot of time to know a person. However, the fact that you are troubled by what other say means that you have a kind heart and are a kind child. Now about your question involving these people. It is human nature being jealous. It is normal for these people to judge you like that since you have some things they may never get or achieve. You have to understand that being jealous is human nature, so try not to be mad with these people. The best thing you can do with them is ignore them and forgive them. Being able to do that shows true superiority, not money. Do you have any true friends? If no it's totally normal since it's hsrd to find a true friend. If you do try talking to him about your problem. Also, in both cases try talking to your parents about what's troubling you. That's pretty much it. How to get over a broken heart?
My ex and I have had a very passionate, but rocky relationship from the word go. He was always very suspicious of me, he broke up with me first because he read mesages on my fone from another boy, who was just a friend. Then he came crawling back, and I took him back. Then I was jelous because this girl he had met recentely in a club kept texting him. He said that they were only friends, and i believe tis to be true. They were only texting each other because they happened to be from the same town in brazil, and that was rare to find over here in Ireland. But then he got really mad at me for being jelous and broke up with me. I was heart broken , because I really loved him, but then..... yet again, he came crawling back... and I , like a complete idiot, went back to him. Then on a drunken night out, I told him that I was bisexual. The next day he broke up with me, saying that he couldnt handle that and that i was too crazy for him and he didn't trust me. So then I thought.... thats it... I have to move on with my life. So I went out with this guy, who was actually a friend of a friend of my ex. But me and my ex were still friends, and I thought it was fine like that, I was happy to have him as a friend. Onday I went over to his house to colect my laptop, because i had left it there. He walked me to my car , and he says, "do you love me?" then i told him , i dont know, i dont want to talk about this now etc.... Because even though I did, I didnt want to just let him back into my life straight away. Then he jsut went crazy and said he never wanted to see me again, and he smashed my laptop onto the road. He had obviously found out about the other guy. I know this all sounds crazy.. and any sane person would want to the the hell out of there, but the truth is I am still hoplessly in love with him. Ever since that happened, I cant sleep , i cant eat, I have'nt been able to go into work.... I just feel sick. I know its crazy, but i just want him back so badly!!!! I know that im only 20, and everyone will tell me that I will meet another guy etc... but I really dont want to, i just want him.... i love him so much.... and i dont know what to do to get over this feeling of heartbreak!!1 Please, anyone who has been heart broken before give me some advice!!! thank you! xxx

I've felt the same way. Can't sleep, eat, that pit in your stomach when you think about them? There's no over the counter for a broken heart, sadly. Time will heal most heartaches. i can't give you a tmeline or anything. It's not a science. I'm just getting over a girl after about 6 months. We never even dated, i just had always liked her, and i told her, she continued to lead me on, then told me she wasn't ready for anything, but she valued me as a friend (but then didn't talk to me for nearly a month after wards). I had to take things out of my life that reminded me of her. For instance, i had this picture of the two of us by my bed and i just put it away. I didn't burn in or anything rash, i just hurt every time i saw her, so i removed the unneeded pain. I mean, you'll still think of them, but after a while, it'll get easier. I promise. Is there an outlet on airplanes?
I will be flying American Airlines Monday morning and will not arrive at my destination until Wednesday night. I remember once hearing that you could pay to get an outlet, so how much might that be? I have no idea how I'm going to survive these two days without my laptop and plenty of things to read and watch and play. And if anyone is curious, it's two and a half days because I got the cheapest ticket from Belo Horizonte, Brazil to Houston, Texas. There is a 12 hour stop in Recife, Brazil, then to Miami, then to LA and finally to Texas. I guess that's a consequence of buying so cheap haha.

1 - I'm not an airplane-seat expert, but I understand that many seat-brands have one certain kind of electrical outlet, meant for laptop use -- which reminds me, when I read your inquiry, I thought you meant "air exhaust" or similar, and yes, passenger aircraft have those also. 2 - Check with YOUR planned airline, ASAP. They should share such info about laptop-use with you. 3 - Your routing is certainly unusual: they make you go west to LA first? then back east to Texas? Unusual to say the least! When you reach Miami, or before in Recife, inquire about a re-route, directly to Houston! IF they have available seating, it is in their interest to simplify and shorten your trip, without further cost to you. (It potentially frees the seats you now have, for further sale.) In my experience, American is fairly good on such matters.

well, it looks like most of the time your ill be stuck in the airports so you'll have access to outlets there. as for on the planes, most of american airlines new 737-800 have standard ac outlets. the rest of the planes have dc ports, if they have them. you can use the site http://www.seatguru.com to find out if your type of plane has them. you will need to look at your itinerary online to find out what kind of planes will be used. if they use dc ports, you have to have a dc/ac converter which costs about 30 to 40.

How do I convince my parents to let me use the computer more often?
I'm a 16-year-old girl who loves using the computer. I have my own laptop, as does every single member of my family. However, my dad is very strict when it comes to internet and will turn the wireless connection off whenever he pleases and without warning me first. That means that, sometimes I'm talking to someone on msn and suddenly the internet doesn't work anymore and I'm not even able to say goodbye. This annoys me and we've argued a lot over it. I don't see why he wouldn't let me use the internet. I'm not doing anything wrong, I don't watch porn, I don't talk to 50-year-old pedophiles. I only use it to update my blog and talk to my friends (all who live in Brazil, my home country - I live in Canada). My boyfriend lives in Brazil also, and my parents support our relationship, but I wish I had more time to talk to him. I'm also a writer, which means I have to use my computer to write. I'm in the IB Program, and internet research is a must. I do understand my dad's concerns however. He's afraid I'll stop living my "real" life for my internet life. Except that's not the case, I still go out with friends here, go to the cinema once a week, do homework and get good grades in school, help at home, watch tv and have fun with my family and go on family vacations. I just wish to spend more time talking to people who matter a lot to me, people who live very far away. I don't see why he doesn't understand that. I could be doing drugs, or getting drunk, or hooking up with all sorts of guys. But I'm not. I'm at home, in a safe environment, talking to my long-term boyfriend who I miss like crazy and friends who mean the world to me. My computer and the internet don't stop me from living life, they just help make my life better. Please, if anyone has any advice on how to convince him that what I'm doing (spending time on the computer) isn't wrong, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

tell him exactly what you told us about how you could be doing drugs or drining but you wanted to stay and be on the pc ( it is a pc right?) and its not like your wahyching porn and you can say that and let him check your history every once in a while

Instead of arguing with your dad about the situation, have you ever tried having a calm conversation? If not, try it. Or if you already have...try again. Address your personal opinion and tell him he needs to look at it from your point of view, not just his own. Hope I helped, hope you guys can work something out. :)

Why do I love a guy who hurts me so muhc?
Throughout our relationship he has broken up with me 4 times. The first tine because he read my messages and saw that a guy (who was just a friend) was texting me. But he didn't tell me thats why , he just broke all contact with me and gave no explanation. The Second time was because I was jelous that a really pretty girl that he met in a club one night was texting him all the time ( he said it was just because they come from the same city in brazil) But any way he got mad that i was jelous and broke up with me. He came back again , and I like an Idiot took him back. Then one night when i was dunk I told him I was bisexual. The next day he said that was too crazy for him and he broke up with me. At this stage I was compeletely heartbroken and this guy, who is an aquaintence of my boyfriend kept asking me out and stuff. I didn't want to sit around and wait for mt boyfriend to come back to me again so I went out with him. When my ex this out he went crazy and smashed my laptop. He said I was a slut and bever wanted to see me again. Then after a long time he came back telling me how much he loved me and needed me, and that he would change his plans to go back to brazil to stay with me in ireland. And of course, me being so weak ran straight back to him. everything was going great for a while, until one night we were out and kinda drnk, he asked me if i slept with that guy, I said yeah and he went crazy calling me a slut and said he never wanted to see me again.He deleted me on facebook and wouldnt answer any of my calls. We eventualy spoke and he said he could never forget what I did to him and that eventhough he loves me we can never be together. He has made me feel so guilty for what I did, and he has made me lose all confidence in my self. Before I met him I was so strong and independent, now I just feel empty without him. I know our relationship has been so dramatic, and I have been an idiot running back to him so many times but each time we break up it gets harder. one minute he was changing his life plans to stay with me, the next he never wants to see me agian, I really can't take it anymore I know I am a fool, but if he wanted to take me back tomorow I would run back with open arms.Why do I still love this guy? How can I forget about him? How can I concentrate on the negative things? How do I get my self-confidenceand strength back? I don't want to be a doormat for the rest of my life!
