My laptop turns on but has a blank screen.?
The computer was fine but the cooler was to noise bought a new one and tried to change it myself. Reassembled but the screen wont turn on, even external screen. Cooler working Bluetooth light working keyboard light not turning on. Can somebody help me besides telling me to send it to a shop? I am in Brazil and the pc has no warranty. Thanks

do you have a compaq presario x1000 ? well it could be the case of bad power source, you should fix it as soon has possible, however i cannot guarantee that it is the power source problem.... bad power sources caused by abrupted shutdowns or lightning can damade your laptop power supply, and you should fix this as soon as possible or other components might get damaged with time as well, like certain components of your motherboard... my guess is that BIOS got ruined or you need a motherboard replacment wich can cost you up to $1000 :) if you reassembled everything just fine it could have been cause by some static electricity you induced in the hardware chip components somehow specially BIOS but i dont know.... if you didn't reassembled everything in order maybe you want to reassemble it again this is why i like desktops :)
